In The Middle

The club members were treated to a very special Icebreaker speech last Thursday night from our newest member Afric O’Grada. Her speech titled ‘In the Middle’ was both entertaining and thought provoking. Her evaluator on the night Marie Lynes complemented her Afric on her great delivery and also gave her some helpful suggestions.

Jerry Mulcahy enthralled the audience with another one of his excellent storytelling pieces. Jerry took a story called ’A blind man and his dog’ and put his stamp on it. The story had a very strong message which told us to be very careful to learn the facts of a situation before we jump to conclusions. Rona Coughlan gave Jerry a very motivating evaluation.

The club members on the night were also looking forward to our next joint meeting which would be held in conjunction with the Failte club in Charleville The clubs next meeting will take place on this Thursday the 20th February.
